Introduction – Read this first.

“This is Me.”

Actually, it’s not. This is my dad. That is, this is my dad’s son. This is not as straight forward as it should be. Let’s try it again.

This is Justin. My dad is Carl. My brother is Clint and my mom is Annie.

My dad, who claims to be no good at writing, is a fantastic writer. Our whole family (from Grandma to cousins) email each other on a regular basis. My dad started using my mom’s email account to get in on the communications. In one email Dad stated something to the effect of, “Annie says I have to say that this is me when I send emails so people aren’t confused about who is writing. This is me.”

Ever since he has started all of his emails with “This is me.” Every now and then, when we are lucky, Dad will shoot us a story. Eventually, one of my aunts put the stories in a small binder and named the booklet “This is me.” I told Dad he needs to try to get published, but he seemingly has no interest in such things. So, I decided to make a blog and post his stories and some snippets of his wisdom/humor.

All content of this website is copyright my dad. However, feel free to direct friends and family here for a good read.

And finally, I chose the url “towo” because it is actually short for “T.O.W.O.” which is short for “The Old Wise One” which is long for “Dad”.

That’s my boy, or, rather boys. Mother of Carl G. Kaufman creator of “This Is Me, tales” and grandmother of Justin Kaufman, creator of the “This Is Me”, website. Would like to think that it is all in the genes, since I, too, imagine myself to be somewhat of a poet, a writer of personal experiences, an essayist of sorts and a “Freethinker”. Keep up the good work.
